I don't understand why you keep saying your backgrounds are lame. They're practically separate works of art from the person. Hell, last I checked, I think someone at least got you for backgrounds.

I'm still waiting for the day a Japanese company picks you up for a production.

And your backgrounds aren't bad, I really like those clouds, some of the better ones I've seen, as wel as the shaft of sunlight effect, thats a nice touch. ^^

Personally speaking I might have made the leaves a little bit darker green though, but since its a really lit up picture, I can see why that is. : /
