Quick question for all you convention-goers out there. What are some things you'd like to see from the Artist Alley? Try to refrain from comments like "OMG MOOOOAR NARUTO!!!!", especially since 99% of the Alleys are already Naruto stuff. I wanna know what KINDS of merchandise you'd like to see, not series. Common things people sell are Buttons, Badges, Cards, Post Cards, Prints, Bookmarks, and so on. I've got my Lucky Star badges, but not much as far as badge ideas. If you guys give some good ideas I myself can't do I can always post it on the AA forums and maybe some of the other artists will give it a shot :D

So what's something you're going to be looking for in the AA at your next con?

I'm actually interested in something I've never seen before. I would like artists to make keychains. I think it would be really neat to carry my favorite artist around with my keys.

ah yes that's something. I know a couple of artists have done that, but not many. I'd give it a shot if I could find some of the little plastic picture holders that have key rings on them. Course... I haven't actually looked yet haha~ Thanks!

Good, original, Indy comic books. I would check out even issues...
Too few of them there. :/

*rant*Because prints make so much darn more money compare to a comic! A print can sell for 10-15 dollars when it cost about 1-2 dollar to produce per print! A comic? Not so cheap, and cheap comics just don't look good and it won't sell as well.*end rant*

But that's me, and I am an artist, I don't count. XD

I'd like to see more indy comics too~ but not many people actually make and print/sell their comic books. Most are either pros with Tokyopop or just keep their comics online *sigh* I intend to actually sell printed comics one day though :D

I wish there were more amateur comics sold here, especially original ones. There are tons of official comics in the Dealer rooms at cons and Doujinshi but only a handful of people actually make and sell their own original comics without publishers calling the shots~

Clothing, printed T's or hoddie if you can afford it. But what do I know I’m no convention freak like you XD.

I dunno, maybe like Coffee or Tea cups? Look in deviantart prints and see that for ideas.

Im not really creative, but maybe something small to carry around would be fun.
I really love pins!
